How many volunteers do you normally accommodate?In the dry season, we have more than 15 volunteers everyday when Thailand has a peak season of tourists from overseas. However in the rainy season we have less than 5 volunteers or sometimes zero. The rainy season is a good time for the people who seek time for retreat.

Do you teach meditation for beginners?Yes we give you introduction and teach meditation methods. The nature around and the daily schedule at farm help you to grow inner peace.

Do you accept day-visitsYes we welcome day-visitors. Day-visitors can join garden work and have lunch together with us. Arrival time is 10:00 am. The cost is 100 bahts per person including the vegan lunch prepared with fresh organic vegetables. Come by your own transportation as there is no public transport back. Email us for booking and further inquiries.

Where do you sell the vegetables of Mindful Farm?We sell at farm and at markets in the village. If you live far away but interested in buying, contact us.

What should I bring with me?Some things you should bring: a flashlight, a towel, bug spray, sun screen, work gloves, a yoga mat (if you have one), a sun hat (if you have one), clothes that can get dirty, long sleeves and long pants for going to the temple in the village, your own toiletries and any special food items/medication that you need. We will provide bedding and a mosquito net. There is a small shop in the village which stocks things like soap, shampoo, envelopes, and some snacks. If you think you will need anything special, we recommend buying it in Chiang Mai and bringing it with you.

How to get to Mindful Farm?- to get to the farm : link to the contact page - to go back to the city : The bus from our village back to Chiang Mai leaves every day around 6:30 AM. When you’ll arrive in Chiang Mai depends on the driver & how many passengers there are but it’s usually between 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM.

Which SIM CARD has telephone signals in the village?AIS and True Move only.

Do you have wifi?No wifi but hotspot is available when necessary. However try to think of your time at Mindful Farm as a time to be present and free yourself from worrying about the past and the future.

How to support us?We always welcome donations of food for our kitchen, seeds, and books on meditation/mindfulness/Buddhism, gardening & yoga.
