Volunteering
What can you learn here?
We will learn all together how to live a simple and mindful life on the farm, close to our Mother Earth. You will be familiar with environment friendly farming, local herbal medicine and tea, wild edible plants and Thai style vegetarian cooking. You can learn Buddhism and also you can experience Thai village life and touch the philosophy of local people. The daily life at Mindful Farm will show you an example of sustainable way of living in the local context.
After your stay, we hope you can bring back to your home countries the seeds of mindfulness and grow in your neighborhood.
What are the conditions of your stay?
Accommodation is very basic and in various states of improvement and upgrading. Staying at Mindful Farm is similar to camping. There are no personal guesthouses. While older people are welcome to stay at the farm, they may not find the accommodation and sleeping arrangements comfortable.
The farm stay costs 300 Baht/night per person, which includes three healthy vegetarian/vegan meals.
Why do we charge volunteers who contribute their time and hands?
We are a small family farmer without any funding from government or any foundation. But we open our farm for people who want to practice mindfulness in nature. We make much effort to prepare the farm as a learning center. We cannot cover the cost only with the small income from selling vegetables. Your payment will help new people to come to learn.
What is the standard timetable?

Is there minimum period of the stay?
We strongly encourage visitors to Mindful Farm to stay for a minimum of 7 nights. The longer you can stay, the more you will learn from your time here, and the more you will be able to contribute to our community. You also have the opportunity to experience a day of silent meditation alone in the garden. Hope you will like the farm and stay as long as you like.
Do we accept family volunteers with kids?
Kids are welcome to join any activities at farm. Please have no worries about following our daily schedule. Families can take their own time whenever necessary. Make sure to inform us of any health concern or food restrictions when you send us inquiries. Also bring along any medicine you may need and baby food, since we have only small shops in the village.
